Flavours, sounds and new connections: the KreativEU Student Festival, promoted by the University of Camerino (Unicam), brought the student community together around cultural exchange and the international spirit of the alliance. The festival was made up of distinct events, each designed for the occasion, that turned food and music into tools for dialogue between partner countries.
University Aperitifs: taste as a shared language
The University Aperitifs, one of the events of the KreativEU Student Festival, drew an enthusiastic crowd of students eager to take part, in an evening organised in collaboration with Musicamdo and the Unicam Student Council.
The event gave students the chance to discover and taste traditional dishes from the countries of the KreativEU alliance, which brings together eleven European universities, from Portugal and Italy to Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Czechia, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden. Food became a way to explore and share different cultures, telling stories of identity and tradition through flavour.
Music was the other protagonist of the evening: a universal language that creates connections, encourages dialogue and brings together people from different backgrounds. Between live concerts and DJ sets, the evening unfolded in a spirit of participation, encounter and the international outlook that defines the Unicam community.
The NYCO Masterclass: music as a learning experience
The festival also gave other students the opportunity to take part in the NYCO Masterclass, another event of the KreativEU Student Festival 2026 programme promoted by Unicam.
The masterclass offered a valuable chance to engage with both classical and modern musical traditions through workshops led by internationally experienced musicians and teachers. The initiative celebrated music as a universal language capable of connecting people, cultures and artistic experiences, values that lie at the heart of the KreativEU alliance.
Between shared flavours and shared sounds, the KreativEU Student Festival showed once again what the alliance is about: making Europe a shared home where local heritage meets a common future.
