We are pleased to announce the inaugural Colloquium of PhD Students within the KreativEU Doctoral Programmes, a landmark academic event designed to foster intellectual exchange, interdisciplinary dialogue, and collaborative advancement among doctoral researchers across the KreativEU partner institutions.

Who is invited

We warmly invite:

• Doctoral students from KreativEU universities to actively participate or present scholarly papers based on their ongoing research, sharing insights into findings, conceptual frameworks, and methodologies.

• First-year PhD candidates to introduce their thesis projects, outlining the scope, objectives, and anticipated academic contributions.

Programme highlights

In addition to research presentations, the colloquium will feature a series of training sessions aimed at strengthening doctoral formation and innovation in research practice, including:

• Open Access Publishing at Doctoral Level: Contexts, strategies, and practical guidance

• Academic Writing: Enhancing clarity, structure, and scholarly expression

• Good Scientific Practice: Upholding research integrity and ethical standards

• Presentation of the KreativEU Advisory Pool and feedback from participating doctoral students

A central theme of the colloquium will be the Co-Creation of Joint Doctoral Programmes, exploring participatory models for shaping doctoral education within the KreativEU framework.

Submission guidelines

Doctoral students from all eleven KreativEU universities are invited to register as presenters or participants via the following link:

Presenters are kindly asked to include:

• The title of their presentation

• An abstract (maximum 200 words)

Deadline for submission: 1 November 2025

Accepted contributions may be considered for inclusion in the official colloquium proceedings.

Event details

Virtual sessions will be conducted via Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Access details will be shared with registered participants.
Social programme: Evenings of 19 and 20 November, 18:30–21:00, hosted locally by each participating university.
Onsite participation: Doctoral students of Valahia University of Targoviste, as well as KreativEU students on mobility at Valahia during the event, are warmly invited to attend in person at the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Science and Technology.
