On 26th and 27th of September, 2022, the first transnational meeting took place at the Polytechnic University of Tomar within the scope of KreativEU, Knowledge and Creativity European University. The consortium was represented by the Rectors of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (Czechia) and the Adana Alparslan Türkeş Science and Technology University (Turkey), the Vice-Rector of the Valahia University of Targoviste (Romania) and Margarita Bogdanova, Director of the Faculty of Management and Marketing of the D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics (Bulgaria).
KreativEU is part of the initiative promoted by the European Commission for the establishment of European Universities and its main objective is to promote long-term institutional and strategic cooperation between the various European higher education institutions involved, through the implementation of an educational model competitive and attractive, based on the promotion and assimilation of various cultural traditions, crafts and local and national folklore, from a truly inclusive and European perspective.
During the meeting, the results of the European Commission's evaluation of the ERASMUS-EDU-2022-EUR-UNIV call were discussed and analysed, and it was decided to submit a new application for the next call.
Op 26 en 27 september 2022 vond de eerste transnationale bijeenkomst plaats aan de Polytechnische Universiteit van Tomar in het kader van KreativEU, Knowledge and Creativity European University. Het consortium werd vertegenwoordigd door de rectoren van de Universiteit van Zuid-Bohemen in České Budějovice (Tsjechië) en de Adana Alparslan Türkeş Universiteit voor Wetenschap en Technologie (Turkije), de vice-rector van de Valahia-universiteit van Targoviste (Roemenië) en Margarita Bogdanova, directeur van de Faculteit Management en Marketing van de D. A. Tsenov Academie voor Economie (Bulgarije).
KreativEU maakt deel uit van het initiatief van de Europese Commissie voor de oprichting van Europese universiteiten. De belangrijkste doelstelling is het bevorderen van langetermijn institutionele en strategische samenwerking tussen de verschillende betrokken Europese hogeronderwijsinstellingen, door middel van de implementatie van een concurrerend en aantrekkelijk onderwijsmodel, gebaseerd op het bevorderen en integreren van diverse culturele tradities, ambachten en lokaal en nationaal folklorisch erfgoed, vanuit een werkelijk inclusief en Europees perspectief.
Tijdens de bijeenkomst werden de resultaten van de evaluatie door de Europese Commissie van de ERASMUS-EDU-2022-EUR-UNIV-oproep besproken en geanalyseerd, en werd besloten om een nieuwe aanvraag in te dienen voor de volgende oproep.
